The building is on a sloped site, and includes a single-storey wooden frame section and a three storey non-combustible wing over underground parking.

• The 137,756 sqare foot building includes several amenities, including retail and salon services; lounges, multiple dining, activity, and lounge rooms; a theatre, chapel, physiotherapy room, and board room; and multiple nursing stations, laundry and soiled linen rooms, and control stations.

INTERIOR DESIGN

This assistive living complex in Okotoks, Alberta provides 149 beds in a combination of assisted living, resident-owned, alzheimers, and double units. With a total of 137,756 square feet, Tudor Manor also provides a wide range of supporting services and amenities, including retail and salon services; lounges, multiple dining, activity, and lounge rooms; a theatre, chapel, physiotherapy room, and board room; and multiple nursing stations, laundry and soiled linen rooms, and control stations.

• Our interior design connects with the building exterior, through the use of timber and stone, with design elements drawn from the tudor style. We used a combination of earth tone finishes that work to assist residents in way finding.

• True to its name, the design concept makes use of gabled roofing, wood features and tudor-style elements, evoking tradition and comfort.

• As with our other aging care centres, Tudor Manor makes use of hospitality-style elements in design, layout, and amenities. Our design also includes a grand, curved staircase along a masonry feature wall and below a large custom light fixture.
